My friends and I frequently visit seafood boil restaurants in the area whenever we go out, so we decided to finally give Monster Crab a try. We went on a Thursday evening and, thankfully, there was no wait. We were seated promptly and given the menu for the all-you-can-eat seafood boil. The waiter explained that the appetizers come together, while each person gets their own individual seafood boil. I actually really liked this concept because everyone can choose their own spice level and seafood options. We also each got the $1 drink special that came with the all-you-can-eat menu. One thing I found strange was that none of us were asked for ID when ordering the drinks. I thought that was required, but apparently not here. 😂 Unfortunately, this is where the experience went downhill. Our seafood boils arrived in clear plastic bags inside bowls. The bags were puffed up into large balls, which was extremely strange and honestly made the food look like it had been microwaved. Once we opened them, there was a decent variety of the seafood we had selected, but the taste was absolutely horrible. The seafood tasted far from fresh and had a reheated/microwaved taste. I went to the location near long Island.. I think they should only do seafood if you have guests who dont like seafood the appetizer options are bad ! I had a cheeseburger it was so hard and dry ... The oyesters weren't good at all to me ! The shrimp was not overcooked or craglegs Potatoes were old corn was undercooked sauce salty ! Wings taste like tv dinner Never got fries but on menu Fish wet lobster sandwich yuck ...everything was cold also ! My advice just get the boil! It was ok wont be back !

The interior of the place was very well decorated and they prepare you with a plastic bib, gloves, and a wet napkin for after you’re done. Although the selection isn’t as diverse as their dinner menu, it was still pretty good for the price. Do note that they give you A LOT of certain items like sausage and spaghetti if you order it so order at your own discretion. Would definitely come again and maybe even try out their dinner menu.

Went in on a week day for the promoted AYCE special . I explained to them that I would like the $29 AYCE promoted lunch special I was sat promptly and handed a menu. The food took a little while but came out hot and tasted fresh . I enjoyed a cocktail while I waited . I didn't really order much cause I wasn't that hungry and they charge a whopping 15.99 per lb for wasted food . When I got the check I was super upset to see they charged me the full $69 dollar price when I challenged it they said oh the lunch special doesn't include crab legs but no where on the menu specified that any the waitress didn't explain that to me . ONE crab leg cluster wasn't work 69 dollars plus tax and tip. I felt like they lied about the price and definitely sneak the bill on you with out explaining so be mindful of that . I'm not sure if I wound return even though the food was decent . If you decided to pop in just make sure to be mindful of this . Happy eating 🍽️

I recently tried the seafood buffet here and had a mixed experience. The lunch buffet is an excellent deal—definitely worth it for the price. The food quality is outstanding, with a great variety of seafood that’s fresh and well-prepared. Everything is presented very professionally, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the dishes. However, the service was disappointing. The server seemed upset and not very attentive, which affected the overall experience. So while the food is top-notch, don’t expect great service. Overall, I’d still recommend it for the food alone, especially if you’re going for the lunch buffet.
